My Background
I have loved to draw and paint from as far back as I can remember. As a little girl, I always drew with graphite and pencil colors to create vivid pictures. Later I did a bit of acrylic, charcoal, chalk, and pastel. Then Watercolor Art became a passion for me. One day, while painting a red onion, I knew I wanted my work to be botanically influenced, an art form focused on the detailed depiction of plants, flowers, fruits, vegetables and other botanical subjects.
My art is an expression of my love for nature and my desire to enjoy it just as God created it. Simple, yet filled with the tiniest of details, clean and full of a myriad of colors. Many of my pieces were chosen to reflect that. My heart is full and my soul is stirred when I consider the endless array of God's creations yet available for me to paint.

My Medium
All of my art begins as an original watercolor painting. The designs are scanned and digitized to create prints, cards, glass cutting boards, ceramic and stainless steel mugs, cell phone stands, key chains, ornaments, framed art and more!
My Inspiration
I enjoy hiking in my spare time and many of my pieces are directly influenced by these hikes in nature. I love recreating plants and wildlife in my work. Many of the fruits and vegetables have been grown in the garden of my family and friends.
